The Four Seasons of Norma Talmadge homeware Artist Joanna Bourne studied FineThis is part of a series of multi layered and detailed digital works entitled Beautiful Ghosts. On a cold Christmas morning in Brooklyn, Norma Talmadges father walked out of the family home to buy food and never came back, leaving her mother to bring up Norma and her two sisters alone. Although her childhood was marked by poverty she went on to become one of the great stars of the silent movie era and retired, one of the wealthiest women in Hollywood.
