the hill to the north of the course is a more important symbol of the  club and the area in general

Its beginning is characterised by spectacular plunging waterfalls then a meandering section before entering the deeply wooded gorge depicted in the painting

Marian y De is a blue flag beach and is easily accessible from the town with ample parking along it long promenade

They were James Dickson Innes and Augustus John. They had totally fallen in love with the wild remote nature of the area. My depiction of Arenig Fawr is from the east which shows the scale of this enormous mountain
