I had painted so many subjects that I needed an outlet. And so while client projects dried, I'd wander onto scrap papers and boards to unwind. What I now call "watercolor playgrounds" quilckly became a regular creative practice. Creating forms with loose watercolor bleeds, painting organic shapes and playing with movement lit my
